I have a problem, I am thinking it is the dashboard cluster on my van. When I am going about normal speed on the highway, (say 60mph) All of a sudden the oil light will come on and then the speedo will drop from the speed to 0 and then up to the speed again. When the speed goes back up again the oil light goes off and the gauges go back to normal, speed, gas etc. I gas my van up every day (35 gal tank) and even though the tank is full the gas gauge registers half. I check the fluids every day, (oil ,trans etc.) and the fluids are fine. Dashboard cluster, maybe a ground wire somewhere. Somebody , If you know what it is, PLEASE HELP!

instrument cluster voltage regulator, or loose/bad ground connection.

check the bulk head plug, it is on the firewall usually on the driverside upper corner . Good luck.
