so you know i'm a regular teen.I go to school and have many gay friends. especially boys so i'm not a gay basher.

alright, when a astraight person wears like a straight pride shirt or something that expresses straight pride, do you think that they are trying to play to can play it that game? they are trying to be sarcastic? because as a soon as gay people started coming out of the closet, str*ties decide to wear a straight pride shirt? but when being gay wasn't an issue no one wore straight pride logo?

just a thought. :)

I have no problem with "straight pride". When pride becomes an excuse to attack others, then I call foul.

Would you also wear a "white pride" t-shirt?
Heterosexuality is the majority. Heterosexuals aren't denied housing because of their sexual orientation, they aren't beaten and sometimes murdered strictly because of their orientation. They aren't fighting to get the right to marry the person they love.

At best a "straight pride" shirt shows a callous disregard for the legitimate struggles others are going through, at worst they are expressing outright bigotry and hatred. If laughing at the pain of others makes someone feel "pride", wear the shirt, I'd love to be able to pick a bigot out of the crowd by sight, it's nice to know who I can ignore.

LOL. I love the straight pride shirts personally. I pride myself on being a good person that has friends, loves, fun, and everything that makes life worth living. I am not saying that that I am against any sort of pride or rallies, but it just isn't for me.
Heck, I would probably wear a straight pride shirt because it is campy. I have a wicked sense of humour so anything that tickles me is good.

I am gay, but I don't focus everything on that aspect.

I've never seen anyone wearing a "straight pride" t shirt, but I find it strange that someone would need to point out on a t shirt what most people would assume....

good question I acutally had a shirt like that in college. I was part of a organization in college and we hosted a "its ok not to be gay day" and a "heterosexual awareness week". If they can be proud of thier sexual orientation then so can all us straight people. Straight pride

I think it was a shame when any person who said they were of God started teaching that Homosexiulaity was not a sin. That goes directly against the Bilble, It was these type of teachings thaqt brought the gays out of the closet. Do we not have the right to Love our Lord and Saviour and show devotion to him and stand agaisnt the things that he abhors? I know I do. I also know that anyone can recieve forgiveness by changing their ways and going to God and asking for forgivness. It is not something people are born with, read 1 Corinthians 6;9-19 it tells us right there that it is a choice. read and learn.

You wear what you want and I'll wear what I want. To each his own as long as it's not inflammatory or threatening.
