I am an avid Bears fan, but sick and tired of this guy. He was great and very instrumental last year in helping to get to the Super Bowl, but why could he not perform as wellt he first 4 years we had him, NOW he wants tons of money for showing he can perform greatly in one year? I would respect him a lot more if he had gone about the whole situation better and with something called class and dignity....what are your thoughts, anyone?

here is what i think is going to happen..he wil sit out the year because the Bears wont redo his contract and he will then be a free agent..and he will be lucky to 5 mill a year. so he would be better of if he played and have similar stats then he might be worth more..he is only hurting himself at this time because he will be labeled as unsignable, and be real lucky to get anything because they only could offer him so much and stay under the salary cap

I am a bear fan to and Lance Briggs is a baby. I think they should trade him if he is just going to sit out why waste the money? I would gladly take as much money as he is getting for playing football. I am a HUGE fan of Lance but right now he is being a hot head.

GO BEARS!!!

Well the Chicago Bears still have Lance Briggs's signing rights as they slapped him with the franchise tag. I think he'll be coming back for at least one more year. Then it's up to both him and the Bears as to what they want to do.

I think he will get a deal done with the Pats. The Pats did sign Adalius Thomas but could definilty use Briggs. That scenrio makes the most sense. He has been quiet these past few weeks.

He's a big baby and won't be half the player elsewhere. He won't have Urlacher to back him up. Even I could be a decent linebacker playing next to the best defensive player in the NFL.

i still think the bears are gonna trade him after this season no matter what happens.so he should play out this season and move on and be better for it.
