I just found out some disturbing things about one of my closest friends. I just discovered he's leading a double life and having sex three, four, and five times a week with guys in public places. He maintains an image of being a total ethical and nearly non-sexual person. I only discovered all this by pure accident. At first I was extremly angry but now I'm just sad and worried. I don't know if there is anything I can do to help him. He doesn't have a clue I know. I really need some advice if anyone can help. Thanks

Confront him and discuss safe sex, and the chance of being caught. Those are the two issuse here. Let him know that you're concerned about him. The need for safe sex if obvious, and if caught in some states he will be considered a sex offender and will needto register for the rest of his life and his neighbors will all be notified whereever he lives.
Gender and frequency are not maladaptive concepts.

All addiction recovery starts with the person admiting they have a problem.

It seems YOU are the one having a problem with this, not HIM. If you can handle being friends with him knowing of his lifestyle without questioning him about it, then fine. He obviously doesn't want you to know, or he would have talked to you about it. If it's too uncomfortable for you to handle, you might back out of the friendship. He doesn't seem to need help with anything.

He was obviously molested in some perverted manner when he was young. I'm not sure that he can be converted at this point.
