The food is exactly the same price; you might spend more money in gas as you idle at the drive-thru for a few minutes while waiting your turn but other than that there's really no difference.

Well, some places may charge extra for take-out, but I don't think McDonald's or most other fast food joints do. It should cost the same either way, although you can save money on drinks by ordering just the food to go and drinking what you have at home. That's what I usually do.

Actually you have a good question. There are some fast food joints that charge you different whether you are eating in or taking it out. I have no clue why they do that, but it does happen. You are not the only one to notice this.

not usually, but I did notice at one local McD's they had a drive thru special once for a breakfast. I think you got the coffee free or something if you went thru the drive up.
