I woke up this money, booted up my laptop and all of a sudden I couldn't connect to the wireless router in my house.

The weird thing is, I can connect to any of my neighbor's wireless networks right now, but now my own. The internet to the main computer using the cable is working fine (I'm on it)

How can I fix this?

I have this problem all the time I have a Netgear router I dont know what causes this but you may want to try turning the power off on the lap top then restarting if that doesn't work unplug your router from the your power source wait 30 seconds then plug the power back in then wait until you have all the appropreiate green lights on your router then try to reconnect this usally works for me . If all else fails have windows perform a repair on your wireless connection. you can do this from the control panel

It can be either your internet provider or your router who
needs to be reset. Try to re set your router first.
Unplug your router. Remove all wires. Leave it for 10mn
then replug all the wires, Reboot your PC and see if
it works. If nothing happen then call your Internet Provider.
The fact that your router can catch other networks means
it is working fine , only your provider does NOT respond.

Good luck.

fist thing I would try is to reboot the router (unplus it for @ 30 seconds), at the same time I would reboot your high speed device (cable modem/dsl/etc....)

start back your high speed device, let it finish booting up then plug back in your router

after it boots back up try to connect to it again (hopefully it will work)

if not how do you know nor connected (cannot sufr the internet, wireless icon says not connected .....)

if the icon says your connected but you cannot get to the internet, more than likely there is a problem with your dns.

if your wireless icon says not connected, then maybe your wap passwd is incorrect (if you enabled security on the router )

by guess is the reboot(s) should fix you up but if not let us know

Try turning off your computer and turn off your router. UNPLUG everything (not just turn off). Wait about 10 minutes and replug in your router and let it do it's thing for about 3 minutes or so.... then start powering up. If you have time warner - it'll be the first thing they tell you. Also, check your TV and make sure you have cable right now. You could have an outage that would affect your internet connection.
