People in America can marry anyone they want to.

They are allowed to but why would they. You never know anymore who is associated with the terrorists.
Aside from that a marriage has a better chance if you marry someone from your own background, marriage has enough obstacles to overcome. I feel a christian should marry a christian, a Jew should marry a Jew, an Arab should marry an Arab.
The divorce rate is insurmountable in our days. Just look at all the question the people are asking on Yahoo answers when it comes to marriage. That should also tell you it is better to stick to your own ethnicity, and religion

American people are allowed to marry whoever they wish. On the other hand, I think it is sometimes looked upon differently in Arab culture and communities.

I dont see why not. if the american guy and the Arab girl love each other they should get married if they want. even if its against their religion. You cant help who you fall in love with.

Yes, most ARab parents wont care as long as he is same religion (there are Christian Arabs by the way)

In America, we have the freedom to marry
whomever we choose
- except in the case of homosexual relationships
(which I think is wrong)
The only thing that might prevent it is the person's
own beliefs, religion or culture
Still even if the family is against it, once the person is
18 years of age, he or she is free to make that decision
and can choose to defy the family's wishes
