unfortunately it was under control of england and they still have not been given the six county's back what are now known as northern ireland. Ireland belongs to ireland no matter what the atlas says. at the moment the republic of ireland is recognised as a seperate country where as northern ireland is seen and classed as part of england which was so during the potato famine.
