because other adults have tried and successfully exploited teens on MySpace. Several teens have gone missing for that reason.

I think that they think Myspace is wrong because all of the gay adults online looking for teens. The parents should be telling their kids not to give out information so they think Myspace is wrong. But parents should be aware of what and who their kids are talking to if they are concerened about something.

There is no control at all on myspace. Women are constantly posting porno ads and kids lie about their age. Sexual predators are probably always on looking for their next prey. Myspace, just does not care about the safety of the children.

Some people think it's wrong because anyone can try to talk to your kid. Most of the time kids think that its cool to post about who they had sex with and there are even a few pages that are dedicated to the harassment of other classmates.
Myspace has added some very good safety features. You just have to choose to use them. You can not search someone who is under 18. You can even make your profile private, require people to know you last name and your email before they can view your profile.
People need to stop blaming the adults. The child is telling the pedophiles all there business that's how they keep getting molested.
