When you say it has come off...has it fallen inside the door completely or is it on an angle ...cos the glass on these have a guide on the rear edge of the glass it may just need clicking back into place...if you need to take off the panel the the grab handle has a screw in it then you will need to release the cable from the back..it's on a plastic clip that you rotate.there will be some screws dotted round the panel and some in the door handle...pretty sure they are torx bits..like a star bit..there is also a sticky sealant on the inside of the door as well which you will have to slice with a stanley blade... the glass should locate on the mechanism via a plastic clip which goes through the glass then a clip sits on the other side of the glass to hold it in place...it will have popped off somewhere inside the door if this is the reason for your glass comin off.. you can e-mail me for any advice no probs..it has been a while since i last saw one but i will help if i can.. good luck.

I also own a Xara picasso 2 ltr auto Exclusive, I buy a new one every year but as citroens discount is not same I have kept the car hoping they will give a better discount, my car is June 05 reg, Wicked red pearlecent paintwork, paintwork and upholstery have been treated since new, only 1,400 miles on clock, selling it for £10,295 o.n.o.
Now ur window, I havent actually looked at my door card properly, but I was a windscreen fitter up to 1989.
Tahe door handle etc off. U will find screws may be hidden by a plastic cover, use a small flat bladed screwdriver to carefully flip off these covers. Unscrew handles etc, once al is removed then the door card will likely to be screwed on and possibly have some door popper catches, first lokkk under and at both sides of the door card for small phillips screws, undo all of them, then be very careful or u will bust the door card, from bottom of door card, pull gently towards u, if there is nothing else holding it the card will pull away from the door, then all u do is from the bottom of the card and at the lock side push very gentle upwards paying attention to where the door mirror is, if its tight near the door mirror the plastic panel covering the screws etc will have to be removed, if manual mirrors, there may be a large circular plastic or metal screw over the mirror manual adjuster lever, unscrew it and prise the plastic cover off either using ur hands or with a wide flat screwdriver, but be very carefull as u can snap locating plastic securing pins, if its electric mirrors then it will just be the flat plastc plate, but be carefull removing it. They may or may not require removing, u will find out when u try removing the door card, so jusdt push from back bottom of door card if loose, give bottom of card a gentle bump with ur hand to help release the card from where it attatches to the top of the door where window stops when lowered, the card may have to be removed at an angle to help clear from the door mirror plate, if there are door poppers on then use a flat bladed long screwdriver put the blade under the plastic popper clip and twist gently and it should pop out of its hole, dont pull the card as u could snap it.
Refitting is the opposite of removing.
