Well 100 yrs ago a lot of healthy babies were born without
worring about what the mother injested. But a lot wern't The placenta filters out a lot of stuff. But Tylenol is safe without a
doubt. It didn't do anything for my g/f. she took ibuprofin and asprin. But maybe she lucked out.
For ibuprofin, Ask your doctor. but the first trimester is the most important. You're baby is developing. Avoid any medications if you can but tylenol if you have to.

Only tylenol. As far as the strength goes and things like that, alot of people have said just take the basic one, but my doctors (different doctors during both pregnancies) have said it's alright to take the extra strength one and things like that. I'd double check with your OB thought. This is a website and none of us are doctors so the only way for you to be safe with your pregnancy is to ask your doctor.

I checked this with my doctor as I had the worse migranes for the first trimester and only Ibuprofen will ease the headaches.

I was told if only Ibuprofen would work then it was fine but because it is an anti inflamatory it should not be used for 2 weeks before you give birth. Always best to check with a doctor.

ibuprophen is a no no. tylenol you can take. EXTRA STRENGTH tylenol you CAN take. but don't listen to me i'm just a doctor!

ibuprophen actually helps in thinning the lining of the uterus that is why alot of people take it with their period.

Tylenol is safe. Ibuprofen is not recommended. I think mostly b/c they don't know if it is totally safe during pregnancy yet.

My OB said to take absolutely nothing for the first ten weeks. I'd ask the OB to be sure.
