i want some advice on what should i do. my ex husband is getting done for something really bad and he could be looking at 10 years in prison. my freind says i should stand by my kids (which i do and always have done) and forget him cus of what he has done. but his family says i should stand by him as i have known him for 11 years. the thing he is getting done for is very sick and it makes me feel sick just thinking about what he has done. i don't know what to do i love my kids more than him and life but should i just walk away from my ex plz help

F*ck em'...there must be a good reason that hes Your EX, you are no longer responsible for him! Just forget him...especially if what he is being accused of is that discus ting to you.

O_o what kind of person are you married to?? neways, i'm not gonna ask what is it that he did, but 10 years... it makes you sick?... whoa...
you take your kids away from him. you can still contact him and give him your support if you feel like doing so, but i wouldn't leave my children with a robber... murderer... or whatever it is he has done...
you would be blamed afterwards by his family or even your own, but in the end you'll know you did the right thing.

Being that he is an ex........you should distance yourself. If what he did is very sick and makes you that way, then why would you want to stay close? Your kids don't need the drama, neither do you! It sounds like more stress than you all need.
If you do stay in touch, make it very minimal to reduce any undue stress or drama on you and the kids!

yeah walk away,choose your kids everytime,it sounds like he is getting done for something really bad,i hope its not the kind of thing im thinking of,11 yrs or not,obviously you didnt know him totally,because hes done something that makes you sick just to think about

I'm not sure, but if he is going to prison let him sit there think about the things that he did. let your kids know what he did,and let them paint a picture of there dad. Just lead your kids the right way.

you're not married to him anymore and you don't have to stand by him, the ties got cut when you got divorced from him, you are no longer his family and the only people you have to worry about are your kids because you have to support them both emotionally and financially, let his family do all the standing by him you have more important things to worry about other than some grown man who will be doing time for awhile.....

i can tell in every 10 married women and out of 9.5 are love their children than their husband.......
Be more realistic,every man......especially the one who made more than 1 mistake ........they are very very reliable to women......so if he really make a a mistake .......don't stand by him.....you can stand by his family members but not him ..........and always make your children in your first place.....
