although there are no guarantees, getting to know someone well before u marry is a good idea, also they show love by their actions, by the show of respect, and if they have made u their priority in life, if they seek to make u happy even at their own expense.

This is the biggest mystery of mankind in love relationships. Love is like life in that there are no guarantees whatsoever that the person you love will feel the same way to you. Love and life are full of chances and the more you take, the higher the chances are that one will work for you. God doesnt give anyone the ability to see what tomorrow holds for us, but the ability to dealrationally with each situation as it comes. Unfortunately life holds no promise of suceeding at anything except death and taxes. The best advice that we can give you is to not jump into anything if you have doubts about anything. Later after you do marry remember that marriage is like anything else you have to work at it 24-7.There is alot of giving and taking, no mostly giving, but you have to remember one person doesn't make a marriage it takes two and sometimes the other person just doesn't make the effort. Sorry that you are not getting the answer that tells you just how you will know, but it just doesn't exist.

Ain't easy... because I fell hard big time over this guy I thought I loved. All I can say is if a man really want to get married, he is willing to be together for rest of his life. I would say just put him through the test and see if he really love you and stick to the vows and promises...
