If you work in the U.S., every company has a harassment policy by default. It is against Federal law (and the law in every state) for a company to permit harassment in the workplace. All companies are required to post information (it's probably near a timeclock or employee entrance) stating that harassment is illegal and providing contact information for the Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH).

If you have been harassed, contact your company's HR person or the local DFEH as soon as possible.

If you live in the U.S., it's a government policy by which all employers must follow, it's not elective, so yes, your employer must have a harassment policy. If you'd like to read the guidelines, click on the link below. If you're being harassed, keep a record of it, but don't keep it at work, just in case someone is snooping around in your space.

Best bet is to check with your HR personnel. Most companies do have policies against any form of harassment so there is a good chance yours does also.

I believe it is law for all employers to have a harrassment policy posted in plain veiw of employees, just like the minimum wage amounts.

It may not be. If you are in doubt, the company should have a handbook. Try checking that out.
