4/2 the forecast says rain if the game gets canceled will that still be the home opener game or would the game after that be a home opner

they will play it on Tuesday 4/3...They have an off day.
That happen a few years ago when it snowed out the Opener... That was the day Matzui hit his 1st Grand Slam...

I haven't checked the Yankees schedule, but home openers are usually followed by an off day - that is, if the opener is on a Monday, then Tuesday will be a scheduled off day. If the opener gets rained out, they'll reschedule it for that off day.

LUCKEY it will either be delayed meaning if the weather is good the game will start or if its cancled then it will be on someother day and the next game might be the opener but you will either get your money back or get free tickets to the make-up

its still actually too early for them to really hav the right weather. i mean in a week the forecast can change like always. have fun at the game... i wish i was going.. lol
