Power corrupts. It happened when the Democrats were in power for 40 years and the same thing happened to the Republicans. Its a human thing instigated by the peer pressure within party affiliations.
Its always better to have both parties represented in full debate and with a strong ethics committee actually doing its job. That is your government at its best.

Because they got used by the worst group of people in the world.
Everybody makes mistakes and I trust the Republicans will not stand idly by for long. They will expose and expel the evil ones. Just remember though, evil lurks behind posers in all parties.

because our population is getting more and more ignorant with more and more illegals, single parent children, etc. and the republicans believe they have to move to the left to get their votes. The country is slowly heading toward a serious decline.
