I love scrubs, it's funny. I think JD is funny. but maybe it's just me. Does anyone else find it hard to believe he's into the girls he dates on the show? I found it easier to believe Jack from Will & Grace was going to date Elliot, and he's gay.
Does anyone think the character should just come out of the closet on the show?

I don't think he is gay at all. When I read your question and I started to think about who he could be with and there isn't anyone right now on the show. He's almost sexless - he's the kind of guy you look at like a brother and nothing more. If they match him up with someone they need to make him a little more manly and less like a little boy - but I like his character and don't want him to change!

umm..... i dont think the character is gay, but i'm not really up to date on the show's most recent episodes.
he seems like he's kind of a dork, but in a likeable way. and if i was his friend i'd call him gay in the way that guys bust on each other, (he'd probably do that to me too at one point, all guys do stuff like that), but i mean... his character seems pretty aggressively straight.
they're actors, sometimes its hard to see them as anything but what you remember them as. i mean, the guy that played Kramer will always be that character to most of us. william shatner will always be captain kirk, john stamos will always be uncle jesse, no matter what other roles they have.
anyhow, i dont think the JD character is a gay guy, but if he did come out and say so, they'd still make it funny. its a funny show, with some serious moments tossed in, but they still go for the laughs. i just think his character isnt very "macho" or whatever, and when a guy doesnt act like that, a lot of times he might send a "gay" vibe, even if he's not. its more the personality than the sexuality.

Do not care a thing of the actor / character sex life !
I am fan of Scrubs, of JD and his sad dog's eyes too.
The show does not want to be realistic, on the contrary. It just wants to be funny.
Do not think that much and just enjoy !

that's soooooooo strange!! i began out watching Scrubs like a month in the past, and then I had a dream with him in it. i think of he's geeky looking too, yet I variety of have a weigh down on him too. he's attractive even nevertheless he's not probable warm!

is he gay in real life? well anyway he just looks like the kind of guy who gets picked on as a kid which he probably did, its a great show and thats it
