Uninstall it, YES. Open the Control Panel, and pick ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Then pick Microsoft Works and hit REMOVE.

But I wouldn't. As soon as you do this, a friend of yours will e-mail you a Works Document, and you won't be able to open it anymore. That's how things work.... when you don't have it, you NEED it.

u can do that ...

but have u shared it with anyother users ....ensure tht u close the share first then ...
go to control panel >>>
add/remove programs >>
uninstall it ....

Sure.... just use your control panel to uninstall. Shouldn't have problems.....
