I remember (with fondness) the "Only Fools and Horses" episode where Del boy was a yuppie and went to lean on the bar and fell over.

I liked Blackadder 3 (Episode 6: Duel and Duality) when Prince George has a wild party with some relatives of the Duke of Wellington, and then has to face Wellington in a duel. Blackadder and the Prince switch places and hilarity ensues. I think the entire episode is exceptional from beginning to end. Not one wasted line, not a single unfunny joke.
"Two other trifling things Highness... The men had a whip-round and got you this. Well, what I mean is I had the men roundly whipped until they got you this. It's a cigarillo case engraved with the regimental crest of two crossed dead Frenchmen, emblazoned on a mound of dead Frenchmen motif..." - The Duke of Wellington
For those not familiar, Blackadder was played by Rowan Atkinson (AKA Mr. Bean). The Prince was played by Hugh Laurie (AKA Dr. House). The Duke of Wellington was played by Stephen Fry (The TV host in the movie V for Vendetta).

I remember the two Ronnie's four candles sketch, priceless. Two sacks of phones!!!! I think only fools and horses has to be the best UK comedy ever. Also Fawlty Towers, I love the episode where the name of the hotel is Flowery Twats!!!!

Fork Handles from open all hours!
Or only fools and horses , one of three -
1- where Del falls through the hatch in the bar
2- Del and Rodney are dressed as batman and robin in the street
3- when they are all ready to catch the chandelier, and they are under the wrong one.
They bring tears to me eyes every time!

Despite my being a young American, I like the old British comedy called "Keeping Up Appearances". They play it on PBS every Saturday night at 8:30. Somehow it always makes me laugh.

Your right, there are so many !, some of my faves have already been mentioned, but one I'll always remember is Steptoe & Son, when the dad is getting a bath in the kitchen sink and cleaning himself with the little dishwashing mop, very funny :-)

You're right. There are so many. If I were to pick just one series such as "Only Fools and Horses," You've got all of the ones that people have mentioned plus 'The Chandelier scene, The Blowup Doll scene' etc.
Sorry, there are just too many!

It has to be Only Fools and Horses, when Del and Rodney come running around the corner out of mist, dressed as Batman and Robin.
