my little puppy's in heat (she's not even a year old yet) and her father "got a hold of her" and i was wondering, what is chance that she will be pregnant?
she is SO tiny i dont think she would be able to give birth without dying :'(
and she is still a puppy herself i dont think she would be able to take care of her babies.

Oh yes she can... Cats and dogs can conceive after only 3-4 months...

I just asked the same question! My puppy went into heat at 10 months and our other 8 month old puppy might have bred with her. Yes, she can get pregnant! It is very unhealthy for them to get pregnant before they are a year old. I really would take her to the vet and abort the puppies if you don't think she'd be able to give birth, it's not worth it! Also, the puppies might turn out weird because of inbreeding. If my dog is pregnant, I will just take my chances. She isn't related to the male and they are both AKC and show quality and I know tons of people who would buy the puppies. I also feel she could be ready to be a Mom. In your case, do what's best for your dog. If she is really tiny, you're right, having a litter could kill her and that's just not worth it! My female is a good size and has preety much stopped growing. The worst thing that will happen to her is that her coat will be ruined.

If she is old enough to go into heat then she can get pregnant... If she is as tiny as you say that she is she might not be able to give birth... But first you have to check with your vet to make sure that she is acually pregnant, Good Luck!

Better go to the vet:when she is or was in heat:chance is she got pregnant allright.
Nature deals with this in it's own way:she ,once pregnant will grow like hell.
And willl be able to take care of puppies herself.

hmm...not even a yr old?...almost a year old?
if yes..then she may get pregnant..but chances are she may not be able to take it...
it may affect her health for some period of time...
consult ur vet n take good care of her...she'll be alright
many of my puppies got preg at an early age...but now they are alright

If she can go in heat, she can get pregnant. Take her to the vet and get some help deciding what to do.

She could get pregnant if she came into heat...take her to the vet and have her checked. And don't worry..you won't have retarded three legged dogs--its perfectly acceptable to breed father to daughter for the purpose of having puppies.

Puppies can get pregnant and get each other pregnant at about 5 months. That's why you spay and neuter as early as possible. All things cosidered- incest and all- I'd say contact your vet about a puppy abortion. They do do those.

i think a puppy is suppose to be at least 2 years old.

I always thought they had to be a couple of years old but I'm not 100% sure. Call your vet just to be positive.
