Buying door shells?

I have a 72 chevy pickup and i was wondering what are door shells… do you get a full door or do you just get the outside panel?

a shell is a complete door minus inner component's and hinges and a skin is just the outside of the door

Im not sure, but i would think that you would get a full door minus the glass and window regulator. I would ask where ever you are purchasing this shell from this very same question before you buy.
