People is migrating from primary sector to secondary and tertiary sectors due to economic development of their own countries.

With an economic growth leads to changes in occupational structure, because there is technological impact:
- agriculture (primary sector) is more mechanized, therefore, less people are required to work in agriculture
- industry (secondary sector) is also more mechanichal, but because of the technological impact, there are also more industries, and therefore more jobs available.
- the availabily of service jobs increases

Occupational structure is affected by econ development because roles in the economy change, technology increases and people move to where the jobs are money are.
