If you're talking about first party games (made by Sony), I believe it's Gran Turismo.
If you're talking about 2nd party (made for Sony by a 3rd party company owned by Sony), it's probably Ratchet & Clank.
If you're talking about 3rd party (made by a company that is independent), it would be the Final Fantasy series.
If you pick up the current issue of Game Informer, it lists the top franchises of all time. I think what I listed in right, though I'm not 100% sure on the 2nd party.
