we are constantly changing, so no not static,,,, being true to yourself,,,, the self you are right now today,,,, i think is important,,,,,,, also to figure out who you are, you need to question, learn,,,,, think about things and how you feel about them,,,, what in life do you agree with, disagree with, partially agree with,,,,,,, it means not accepting anything just because someone has said its true,,,,,,,,, investigate it for yourself,,,,, i think we most notice and feel ourselves,,,,, when we are around those who are not like us,,,,,,, we then have a choice to be true to ourselves, or be more like them,,,,,,,,,,,sometimes in life, in certain situations, when its not about a major issue,,,, we do have/need to more blend in,,,,,,, such as perhaps work, we monitor our true self,,,,,,, that doesnt mean we are not being our self,,,, just that ourself is someone who adjusts

To be your true self is not to see yourself as an individual. It is static but it also induces real growth. You will always be yourself, because you will always react to situations as your own physical and mental structure dictates, but to be your true self is to react within a bigger process and wider appreciation and connection of things.

Life is growth, nothing is static.

It means don't act a certain way to please someone else.

Love and blessings Don
