OH! i know the perfect thing. I would suggest using Alcohol, not the drink, but rubbing Alcohol. I went to a flee market, and i bought silver earrings. But off course, they had to be washed cause somebody else had the, before me. And i used the alcohol and it worked.
Also, something else that is very creative. There are certain toothpastes that you can put on your silver jewelry that will make it look sparkly clean. ONly certain toothpastes though, not flavored, just pure white. it worked for me!

Buy a silver jewlery cleaner and a special polishing cloth. They can be found at most drugstores fairly inexpensively.
I've owned/worn a lot of sterling silver jewelry and this is really the best option.

silver polish, you can get it at corey's jewel box or other jewelry stores, its only about 5 dollars. or you can take your jewlelry there and they can clean and polish it for you

The best & cheapest one is with chalk powder (finely grounded). In India we clean all silver with this only, for many Centuries.

Go to a jewlry store or maybe a department store. They have these little wipes, that feel like fluffy cotten. They should be cheap. ~isa B-)
