Yes! Can't stand the right-wing crap, advertisers trying to sell me things i can't afford, any crap that counts as 'news', Coronation st and Eastenders, pensioners TV, shows that are un-realistic and have nothing to do with my situation. My spare time watching sports on the weekend, but want to read more books though.

From when I was born I NEVER watched TV for ... 6 years and that until I went to first school. I watch some TV shows like Top Gear , Harry Hill's TV Burp and some other shows but I rarely watch TV nowadays. And with the likes of YouTube I can watch clips of my favorite shows on that. I mainly am on my PC , play basketball or listen to music when I am not watching TV for my spare time.

I tried to stop, I really did. I did it for about a year when I first got married because I was SO busy that I hardly had any time to sit in front of the TV and actually enjoy it. Although I don't watch much TV right now, there are a few shows which I am hooked on to.

yes!! I used to watch all kinds of serials and dramas and got hook like hell. wasted lots of time in TV and stuff... I had stopped watching for 5 years and still going...
actually, what i did is to watch online the shows i like or popular over the net , instead of hogging on the tv flipping channels and be a couch potato, to keep up with the trends.. it is always abit off when you don't know what the people are discussing...(btw, i'm 18^^)
with the spare time, i can either go out with my friends, read some books, study, work, play games, or just tidy up my room...

Thats really good. I have to say that I have cut out my tv hours too. Usually the tv would be on all day, although we were doing stuff in the house. But since I have had kids, It doesnt go on untill dinner time and I work at nights so I only get to see roughly 2 hours of tv a day, compared to 12 hours! I used to watch all the soaps but they depressed me too much. Now I only watch Corrie!

don't be so rapid to desert the relationship. provide him time and see if he comes around inspite of the undeniable fact that, if he does not start to alter especially quickly it particularly is particularly helpful to end issues. If a guy is unquestionably into you he will coach it. yet they lower back all of us bypass by using dry spells so be certain you rather know what you're doing so as which you will not experience sorry approximately it in an prolonged time. good success! ?

Stopping altogether seems a bit extreme - but as I only watch about 4 programmes a week - I guess I`m almost there to.

Well done!! I really wish i could give up TV for good!! It really is pointless isn't it!! I only really watch it when I am bored or if on a very rare occasion there is actually something good to watch!!!! I really need to be more productive with my time!! Keep it up!! You've done good!!
