for starters, let me tell you that i do NOT feel this way, but, YOU asked, i'll answer...
and oreo (where I come from) is a black person on the outside, white on the inside
most people (myself NOT one) think that a black person should talk 'ghetto' and that if they don't, well, they just aren't proud of their heritage!
i have to say that i, personally, know a lot of black people that have a very high vocabulary...oh, and my own personal opinion on your 'talking properly'...YOU GO! there is nothing worse than a black person being extremely black and trying to isolate themselves with their mumbojumbo language...be proud and don't let it bother you...you know who you are and don't let people try to intimidate you by saying that you talk 'white' when you are just speaking proper english! let THEM be the idiot!

Yeah, its a degrading thing. It means someone feels you're tpp white on the inside. Its a shame that people will show their ignorance this way. Usually this is a way for less educated people and those jealous of you to try to make themselves feel better about who they are. If fact, you should take a look at those saying it to you, and I'm sure you will see that its coming from someone who you definitely wouldn't want to be like in the first place.

Live your life your own way and don't follow someone else's definition as to what black should be.

unfortunate as it is, "OREO" is another racist slur. just because you speak "proper", does not make you a particular race. i know plenty of white people who try to "act black" and they are not referred to as "INSIDE OUT OREO". anyway, it is just a crude, rude, ignorant saying "unproper" people use when they think they are being smart. pay no attention to them. they will go away.

It's stupid expression, but here is what it means: "Black on the outside, white on the inside."
