Congratulations to the Sri Lankan team and the nation for their tremendous performance. They really played like champions. That is the hall mark of great teams that they rise to the occasion. A proper planning was seen in every department of the game from the Lankans. It is true that cricket is not just a game now its science and the way they conducted the autopsy of Indian team proved that they are good scientists. My best wishes to the Sri Lankan teams and as an Asian I would love to see Sri Lanka winning the world cup.

I knew that Sri Lanka will win the match at the end. It was not a good morning pitch to bat. But the openers did it well for the followers. The pitch was fast & swinging int the morning session. It would have bean worse for Indians if they were to bat first. Good tost to win for them but the score 254 was way too high for Indians to chase under presure.I think Sachins wicket was a major turning point. Well done Dilhara, Murali, Chamara, Dilshan, Vass & the rest.

A very well deserved Victory by srilankan.though they shown a slight weakness in batting after losing Jaysuria wicket but they came back in the game and proved that they are the best.....They fielding and Bowling was awesome......I m a great fan of Murali ...what a bowler he is !! Well Done Srilanka !! i think srilankan should be proud of their team !! they are dedicated to their game !All the best for next matches !!

It ain't a big deal. Match of Sri Lanka vs South Africa will decide how good they are. Indian team was already crapped up after losing from Bangladesh.

They deserve the win. They all 11 players were playing like fire and India was like a ant before them, and they took advantage of that and blow India in few seconds only and we stupid INDIANS were praying for their win.
They were all amazing, they make their country proud and give themselves a reason to smile.

I feel fine they got there on merit, good luck for the rest of the competition. Murilitheran is a great bowler. India are crap.

i am extremely happy to see them beat India...
it helped my bangladesh....
sri lanka is second favourite team after bangladesh....
i really hope them to win the WC, as it is not possible until now for bangladesh tigers to win the trophy
