Uhh well i really like country music and i thought Lips of an Angel wasn't country, but today on the Country Top 40 Countdown, Lips of an Angel was sung by Jack Ingram.
SO, i was wondering........Who do you like better singing Lips of an Angel......Hinder OR Jack Ingram

hinder hinder hinder. austin wrote it and he sings it like he feels it because he does! ingram sings like he's reading from the cd liner!! even the guys in hinder think that lolol. i gotta find that article again...didn't find it but did find where someone copied from it lol. somewhere on vh1.com

Rodden: It's somewhat flattering that someone would want to cover our song and also have it be the first single out on his album. But we weren't too jazzed on the way it turned out.

I think its the same. They both recorded it at the same time and both just changed it to go toward their kind of music. I kind of like Hinder better, but Hinder and Jack Ingram aren't the same genre of music, so its kind of hard to compare.

I think the country version is not well put together it just kind of sounds like they recorded it in their garage and not in a studio.
No one will ever be able to redo that song and do it as well as Hinder did.

hinder...i saw them perform that song in early june last year...they had the song before mr country boy got ahold of it and ruined it

I heard "Lips of an Angel" by Jack Ingram one day while flipping through the radio station and was like "WTF!." I listen to country on occasion but I felt like Mr. Ingram thoroughly fk'd it up! JMHO.
