can i charge a new yuasa motorcycle battery with a 2 amp charger?

I second Nomadd's answer, except for the dead part, as you said it was new.

That charger will work fine, but if it's not fully automatic, you need to be careful not to leave it on too long. Only two hours for that battery.
If the battery's been dead a few times it's probably not much good any more.
