Of course you're not mate, i'm a fan as well in fact i've got ticket to their show with Gomez, Ben Kweller,Ben Happer at the end of this month 31st & 1st April. Can't wait.
They've also took home the gong @ the grammy award recently by beating the likes of Tool, nine inch nails and chilli peppers for best song ( woman ) and just wrapped up their european tour with Wolf&Cub ( another great aussie rock outfit ).
That is pretty huge achievement for a band that only started gigging a couple of years ago and only one album released so far. Not bad aayy.

no, wolfmother has been a celebrated band since the mid sixties. Oh wait, thats black sabbath, I get them confused because wolfmother can emulate black sabbath so well. I mean, It is truly impeccable.

I've never even heard of that band until yesterday when my boyfriend pointed out their CD when we were CD shopping and said that I was a "Wolfmother"!

most people like to skip the middle man and just listen to led zepplin and black sabbath. But thats probably not why your family and friends hate them. Acctually I think you have to like to Led Zepplin and Black Sabbath to like them. I think thats the problem.
