Can a computer with a DVD-Rom drive play HD and Blue Ray DVDs as well as regular DVDs?

I'm just wondering.

NO. A regular pc dvd-rom drive can't play HD or Blu-ray disc. You will need a high definition dvd drive that can support HD and/or Blu-ray.
