Studies are far more important. Boy or girlfriends with any sense of maturity and self esteem should realize the importance of achieving an education before worrying any type of long term commitment.

They are both important IF the girlfriend understands that you need enough alone time to study and succeed in school no matter the level. If the girlfriend is horribly clingy and gets angry with you because of time you are away from her due to your studies then studies is a lot more important. No matter if you are male or female your partner should always respect the things that are important to you and be understanding to the fact that you need time away from your partner to do those things!

Studies. Definitely. My partner and I are both graduate students, and we both recognize the importance of the other's studies.
Sometimes, he's preparing for a paper, and he spends 3 days locked in his office. I take over care of the baby/house, and occasionally slip food under the door.
Other times, I'm the one pushing for a deadline, and he does the same for me (Well, I'm breastfeeding, so he just brings the baby in to eat and takes her away when she's done).
The point is - you can have a relationship, but only if your partner respects the importance of your studies. I was single for a loooooong time before I found someone who understood and respected my needs. He was the same way.

Your studies are important .... girlfriend is important too .... but not as important as studies because studies are what determine what your life is to be, and why ruin that because of attention to a girlfriend? .... and if
she really IS a girl - friend, she will make sure
you do not neglect your studies just to be with her ... she will simply not accept too many dates, and make sure she gives some little excuse, for your sake....
However, if she had to do that, she will be better off without you since she had to play "mother" to you
Be sure she is not the one who determines your schedule. If she does, be sure you do not marry her or else you will be marrying your mother. Say a silent "thanks" to her for her love and kindness, then find another girlfriend. Or just stick to your studies until finished!!!

Studies.... girls come and go many times before you find the right one but you generally only get 1 good shot at an education... By the way she should understand that you have to do well in school (college or other)

How serious are you about school. Is this high school or college. Are your studies difficult for you or can you breeze through them?
The results of a good education or your girlfriend. She should be understanding that your time with her will be limited until studies are over.

STUDIES first and last and then if u have got the time u can squeeze in the girl--u have gotta b loaded to take her to her fav restaurants and shower her with gifts like she cant imagine--she dont wanna hang around with a loser or a drop out--it aint cool no more-
