The wattage used in today's cell phones are about 1% of the power used 20 years ago. The genuine concern for immediate health risk to the brain is minimal, yet still exists.
The greatest danger cell phones pose today are inept drivers who insist on using the device unsafely while driving in heavy traffic. Hands free cell phone laws are being passed in many major cities, noticeably reducing the number of incidents where cell phone distraction contributes to an accident.
Although effective, such laws can never replace good judgment. Always use a hands free device. Many newer cars have built in Bluetooth technology.

Since the introduction of mobile phones, concerns have been raised about the potential health impacts from cellular phone use. Studies from the National Cancer Institute and researchers at the Danish Institute of Cancer Epidemiology in Copenhagen do not show any link between cellular phone use and cancer. The Danish study only covered analog mobile phone usage up through 1995, and subjects who started mobile phone usage after 1995 were counted as non-users in the study. However, a study by the International Agency for Research on Cancer of 4,500 users found a statistically significant link between tumor frequency and mobile phone use.

Some have the habit of using mobile phones while driving .This is one of the causes for the rising number of road accidents.
Though not scientifically proven, there are strong arguements that mobile phones cause brain tumer, cancer, strain and mutation due to radiations.
Hope this will be of help to you.Best of luck.

Mobile phones cause mutation due to the radiation. It can also lead to infertility, which is why women are advised to keep their phones away from their chest and stomach areas. Men are advised not to keep them away from their crouch.
Also text messaging is a huge problem too. Many people spend a lot of their time texting. This will cause RSI (repetitive strain injury), which can lead to arthritis.

I think all the proper scientific answers have been given, but don't forget the risk of your private information being overheard if you talk on your phone in a public place (sorry - that's not a 'health' risk, is it?), plus the risk of being strangled by your fellow passengers if you shout loudly into your phone on the train!

oh there are no real health dangers if you ask me. It is pretty much proven that mobile phones don´t harm your health even if you use them for hours. More and more studies confirm that. To say that they harm you is eco-talk, because there is nothing that proves it, not one single reliable study.

Nobody has found ANY danger yet. Nothing has been verified. So a poster would be a bit alarmist, wouldn't it?
