Why not? off course they shoud do the commercials and tv adds. The reason is that the cricket career of any cricket player is not too much, you can say five years (for an average players). In short cricket career every one wants to earn as much as he can, so it is not bad for a cricket player to go for commercial because it hardly takes one or two days to complete the shootings, more over they are doing it when they are not playing cricket.
Appart from these, this is the time for the players to earn money when they are in peak and are in demand, once they got retire no body will notice them or no body will go after them.

No. they should not be allowed to do commercials. This makes them feel like demi-gods. Pig -headed. Besides, they have no scruples. They are adveritising various soft drinks, which are v. bad for health.Worst, they affect the children who hero worship them.
Cricket is a game, which is idolised by the whole nation, young and old. so the cricketers have a major responsibility towards them.

Yeah. They can do. Y not? Its a part of relaxation for them. How can we expect them to spend their whole time with bat and ball. After all they are also like us. We all work, and relax our time by playing cricket or anyother game. They all have to play whole day for their profession and for India.
Its bad to discourage them from doing advertisements.
Even if they do or dont do advertisements, they can perfom the match only upto their ability. Banning the cricket players to act in advertisement is like making a child not to play or watch tv, and to making them ti sit with books the whole day.

Since players are more focussed in earning money through commercials and advertisements rather than playing to their potential, they should be banned from taking up T.V. Advertisements and commercials.

hey i think indian cricket board advice them to do add on tv beacuse board also get money from this add which is done by our players and players also get but i think they should stop themselves to do this adds if they have shame

no they must be banned for commercial advertisements. because they are well paid from bcci. TV add can be allowed if it free and for country's welfare and related to cricket.

Nothing wrong with that as long as they deliver. When they fail we just have to skip the products so that the net result of their endorsement of certain products come to nil.
