. Opening a Clogged Toilet

In most cases a clogged toilet can be opened by using a force ball type plunger, (A). A regular suction cup plunger, (B), will seldom do the job. A force ball type plunger exerts a great deal more pressure for cleaning toilets than the regular type. Be sure to have sufficient water in toilet bowl when using the plunger.

If the plunger does not clear the clogged drain, use a closet auger. Start the auger or snake into the bowl and continue to crank it until it becomes tight. This cranking and pulling action will usually bring up the object that is causing the clogging. If the closet auger is not effective, use a small snake in the same way as described for opening lavatory drains.

If neither the plunger, the closet auger, nor the snake removes the obstruction, it may be necessary to remove the toilet from the floor, turn it upside down and force the obstruction out from the top or bottom. If it becomes necessary to remove the toilet from the floor, use either a wax preformed "O" ring or fresh plumber's putty in reseating the toilet when it is replaced.

Use a plunger first. Do not push the plunger, slowly push down to achieve a vacuum and then quickly pull it up. The clog will only get wedged more if you try pushing it out. Next is a closet auger. This tool can be rented or bought. It has a larger cable than a household snake and also has a piece of plastic on it to avoid scratching the bowl. Next is removing the toilet to inspect the exit hole for the clog. When reinstalling a toilet, use a new wax seal (not plumbers putty).

A plunger has worked better for me than any chemical. To use the plunger properly, you need to experiment. Try slow plunging both on the upward and downward stroke. Then try more vigorous plunging. Make sure you use a toilet-shaped plunger for maximum effectiveness. The plastic ones at HD or Lowes work best for me. Imagine the clog is clinging to the side of the pipe and you need to coax it out.

Well, maybe she does it because shes bored? Try playing with her more. But then again, this all depends on how old she is. Young children usually do this. I would say, take her out more often, play with her, find her some friends to play with/ Just do anything that will get her mind off tiolet paper. You could also buy her the toilet paper where you have to stop at the puppy. That helps a whole lot. I hope this helps! =)Good Luck!

Do not put any chemical in the bowl, but pour a little bleach for sanitary purposes.
If plunging while flushing does not work first time, wait in between tries a few minutes or so. Paper sometimes jams in pipes. Charmin is the worst for that...
Call a plumber and he can snake it clear. Meaning it is a snake looking apparatus that goes deep in pipe to clear it.
