Situation 1: There was a girl who was kicked out of a regular program at school and transferred to a special program. The parents wanted her to continue in a regular program, but the school board forced them to transfer her. She was going well in the regular program. The girl has downs syndrome.

Situation 2: There was a another girl who graduated out of a regular program. And went to university, and she did well there too. But her biological mother decided to get her out of university, because the mother believed that her daughter does not belong there. The girl has Williams Snydrome.

Situation 3: There was a girl who was kicked out of a regular program at school and transferred to a special program. (This situation happened a least 20 years ago) The school board told her parents that their daughter needs to go to a special program. The parents agreed. The daughter was not happy about this. Today the girl struggles to make enough money to survive. The woman has downs syndrome.

If someone can function reasonably well in a regular program, they should be in it. In the past, variations in functioning of those with Downs Syndrome were not recognized. Some people can work a regular job. Others may need to get disability and work in a supported job. That's my opinion from life observation.

Situation 3 is the only kinda fair one, I thought.

It's sad.. It really is.. The first one was just so.. OMG.. I don't like the second one either.. And the third as well.
