I tend to stick with the ratings. I would suggest:
Finding Nemo
Ice Age
Toy Story 1 and 2
Monster, Inc.
Shrek
A Bug's Life
Chicken Run
Look through your video store and find some of the old Disney classics like Charlie the Lonesome Cougar.
Now onto my pulpit, when you desensitize children to violence by not monitoring what they watch and the games they play, then real violence becomes acceptable behavior. We can't end violence until it is viewed as being improper by our children. At the very least, if you think it a good idea they watch movies like Saw, please explain to them how Hollywood does special effects, and how it isn't real nor an acceptable way to live. Or not, you can just enjoy the cute little Brenda Spencers you are rearing. Have a nice day!

Eragon, Bridge to Terabithia, Chronicles of Narnia. These are all fantasy genre movies. If you haven't seen them, these are movies that both an adult and a child can enjoy. Those are just recent ones, I recommend going to imdb.com and looking down the left side to see the top movies for right now.

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. Its an 80s movie with Sarah Jessica Parker, and she wants to be on a dance TV show. Its fun, and no bad language or violence. Just dancing. I remember my friends and I loved this as a kid.
