1. Open a trust account to invest the funds in good mutual funds so that I can do the two things that I couldnot do for want of funds.
2. Starting an orphanage with some good hearted, kind selfless persons to help the needy orphans. To create a place for them to develop in their lives, to be good citizens who will be helpful to others.
3. To start a 'Old age Home' for the aged. To see that the 'Senior Citizens' be able to spend twilight years gracefully and be able to live cheerfully till the end.

Well, I live in California and so I don't know how much a million pounds is...but I am assuming it is a lot of money, and so I guess I would move back to the coast. I would buy my son a house, and I would buy myself and buy each of my kids a car. Not fancy cars, but just good running cars. Hopefully I would be smart and invest the rest so that I didn't soon end up with nothing. I watched this show about lottery winners that won really big money. Several big winners were interviewed a few years after they had won and most of the winners had won, not just one million dollars, but several million dollars. Most of them were now flat broke! They spent all of the money on buying fancey cars for friends and family, giving money away to friends and family and literally just blowing it by living high on the hog. I could see myself easily falling into that trap, and I would hope that I would remember this show, and be wise enough to invest money so that I have something to live on in the future.
