Its really up to you if you want to help your sister...
If the text message is a matter of life and death then let her...but if that is the reason why she was grounded then you are tolerating your sister...
think of what mught happen if your parents find out....

This is harder to answer than one might think. On one hand, you will be risking being grounded for a month along with your sister and yet on the other hand, if you love your sister, you want to help her out. I don't know what she did to be grounded for a month, which is not a long time to be grounded at all, but, you need to decide which way to go on this. You could just happen to leave your phone where your sister could pick it up and use it without your knowledge but, that would be up to you.
My brother and I were grounded for a summer and to make sure we didn't violate the grounding, we were locked in a wood shed for the summer. My older brother would periodically sneak things out to us and we would never think of snitching on him. Sometimes when something seems a little unfair, kids need to look out for each other. It might help your sister if she could convince your parents that she needs her cell phone when she is away from home in case of an emergency. Good luck deciding.

I wouldn't say your sis won't talk to you if you don't let her use your cell phone. She may be upset with you but she will get over that. It's just a cell phone after all, not the end of the world if she can't talk to her friends. But remember that it was her actions that got her grounded. And being grounded means not talking to your friends. And if you do give it to her you're also going against your parents word too. But in the end it's your choice.

You all are sisters, if you can't help each other out-who's going to? I'm not saying to be the worst kid to your parents, but come on...They expect you guys to help eachother when the other one's in trouble. Plus, this will give you leverage later on if you get in trouble and need her help. It's really not as big a deal as you think, I say do it but if you're sooo afraid of what your parents will say or do, then don't.

I wouldn't. Just tell her you don't want to get in trouble with your parents. Where parents get this idea of long term grounding, I don't know, that's just wrong. Spank their butt if they did something that bad or take something away, if not taking everything away, and let them move on. Kids need to get out and socialize and they need to take their punishment and feel like they've been punished and made up for their wrong-doing.

Did your sister deserve to be grounded for a month? If so than no. If you get caught giving your sister your cell phone you'll be grounded right there with her. Explain to your sister that you can't risk it.

being grounded for a moth is a little extreme. Just give her the phone for a while so she can have some sanity! What did your sis do to get grounded for so long!

No, don't give her your cell. That will just get you and your sis in trouble. If you feel bad for her and she's being grounded too long, help her out by talking to your parents. But, please, please, please don't give her your cell.
She may say she won't talk to you anymore, but one month is a long time not to be talking to like...the only person in the house. She'll get over it. (Not to sound harsh.)

grounded for a month. i dont think its to much, not for sneaking out. and i have a feeling if you give her your phone to text and your parents find out, they will more then likely take your phone away and ground you to for not obeying them.

Remember, you are NOT the parent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She has been grounded for a reason and you do NOT go behind your parent's back and do stupid things!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If she doesn't talk to you - oh well................................ she'll get over it. Her world will not end just because you will NOT let her use your cell phone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Once you become an adult and a parent - you will understand more about why they do what they do.
