Ovulation usually occurs on day 14 of your cycle. Some women claim that they can feel it when they ovulate, but many women do not. I sometimes think that I can feel it around day 14 of my cycle when I feel a little miniature cramp for a moment and then it goes away. Also, if you are monitoring your temperature regularly, a woman's temperature will rise a degree or so when she ovulates. Some women do take their temperature several times a day when they are trying to conceive so that they can know when they are ovulating and run and get their husbands. I don't think that some ovulations can be stronger than others, because ovulation means that you are dropping an egg from your ovaries. If you are taking fertility medications, it is quite possible that you might drop more than one egg, which would increase the chances of pregnancy, but no egg is really "stronger" than any others.

Ovulation usually happens in the middle of your cycle and no one session of ovulation is more likely to make you pregnant han another. You can now purchase home ovulation testing kits from a pharmacy, drugstore or in some cases the supermarket. These work in a similar way to pregnancy testing kits and can tell you when you are ovulating.
