I have lost my faith in humanity, that someone I allowed into my house and greeted with kindness would sleep with my wife.

You are mad at the wrong person, I'd really be pissed off at my wife.

The man is a first class dirtbag...no doubt about that, but you neglected to give blame to your wife. She is at fault too. Both are to blame, and as they say, it takes two to tango. If you have salvaged your marriage, then you have to forgive your wife, but I would never ever let this man anywhere near you or your wife ever again. If it ends in the divorce court, then they deserve each other. Heal your wounds, regain your faith in humanity and move on. That would be your only salvation.

You need to be asking what kind of a wife would
allow such a man to do what he did as the wife
was at home an allowed it. The man just took ad-
vantage of the situation but the wife, well that's a
whole different story.

Sounds like he and your wife are the typical person of today actually. Most people will do what they think they can get by with or what will make them happy at least for a time. Most give no thought to morals, wrongs, etc. They instead tend to make their own rules or morals to fit their own purposes.

Now, let us not blame him completely for what happened. To be honest, aside from of course sexual assault, most men have never had a woman whom didnt wish the man to have her. Your wife and he are both equally to blame. Of course you dont wish to see it that way at the moment, but they are both to blame and are both guilty.

You are learning what many of us hold as a principal truth. There isnt anything that humans will not do, given the opportunity, right circumstances and the ability to justify it in their own minds.

It is not just this other man it is your wife that is just as much at fault. They are both very shallow people that have no respect for themselves or anyone else for that matter..You should divorce your wife and move on you deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.Best Wishes to you.

THAT'S what they call, "Wolf in sheeps clothing". Who understands people like that? Good people don't have that kind of mind set and that is why we can't grasp it. Your wife is also to blame for allowing it to go so far. It's painful to hear and painful to have happened to you. Be strong and know that what goes around...comes around.

One who does not care about anyone other than what he wants. I would also think seriously about ridding yourself of the wife as well, because she is just as much to blame as he is.
