I am using a Vista e machine, internet fails, why?

when using internet it sometimes goes blank, sends a message that internet is shutting down, a message that internet is turning on goes completly off and then comes up again.

Did not use to, I have run virus checks, us McAfeey. any help?

Hi. Vista may still be buggy. Wait a while and see if they fix it. Try Firefox.
