I agree with the previous poster, it takes life-long dedication to be a concert pianist or violinist. Not only that.. you have to have some skill as well. Most importantly, you really have to have the passion for it and love what you're doing, otherwise, it won't work out.

At least an hour every day of your life from you're 5 until you're on stage! And by then it will be 8 hours a day.

6 hours everyday, no skipping any days, not even once a week. And you have to avoid vacations. It kinda sucks.
