I know hip hop contains rap and all thoes stuff but what is the real diffrence between hip hop and pop.I do not see any diffrence between hip hop and pop.Both has same commercial videos.Both has no much sound diffrence.Like Pop and rock has a visible diffrence.I see hip hop as externtion of pop music.

hip hop can be pop, if an artist comes from his heart and is creative he is creating hip hop, but if that creative song sells a million units it becomes pop. Pop music is usually catchy and is targeted towards middle America, but some underground hip hop is universal and becomes pop music but the music wasn't intended to be poppy, if that makes since.
