how do i write the action script for a banner in a site?

i've finished a web-site and on top of it i put a flash banner.the problem is that i can't make the the buttons work..the connection to the others pages doesn't work.i managed to make them work on my hard-drive but after i upload the site they don't function anymore.any ideeas?

try using ABSOLUTE addressing, like this:

getURL("http://mysite/mypgae.html");
}
