I Play it in the basement where its usually fairly cool 50 to 65 degrees farenheit. should i be worried and what can i use around the house to keep it from overheating? Or i guess if there are any good commercial products that help im open to suggestions.

the easiest way to stop it from overheating is to stop playing it so much. Seriously, the most common cause of overheating is lack of proper circulation. Make sure you place it on a hard smooth surface with nothing on top of or around it. Never place it on a bed or cushion or the like.

You can avoid overheating by keeping your 360 in a wide open area that gets good ventilation.

Leave enough room between the back of the 360 and the wall.
