I'm almost ashamed to admit it, but I am a very lazy person. I never get things done on time, and I procrastinate a lot. I cannot be bothered to do even the simplest of things. For example, when I am comforatbly seated on a couch, standing up and walking over to retrieve a paper from a desk 2m away is a huge chore.

Also, I do not have to self-discipline and focus to sit myself down to start on my homework, thus a lot of things is left undone. I always tell myself that I can do it later, but I never do.

Is there a way to remedy these issues? Thanks in advance

The only one who can change these problems is you. However, understanding that, for you, it is a problem is the first step. Now you have identified the outcome (laziness and procrastination) try and look for the source. Why are you like this? Has something happened that has left you this way? Is it how you were treated when you were younger? Once you have identified this, try doing at least one thing every day that you would normally not bother with. Exercise is a good one, particularly if you are not usually motivated enough to do it. Feel a great sense of satisfaction in that you have tried something and achieved it and hope that this feeling impels your behaviour to change.
