perimeter is the distance around a figure.
permiters formula is 2(lenth + width)
your length is 7/10 which is the same as 0.7
your width is 1/10, which is the same as 0.1
plug ur numbers into the formula, and the work is shown belo

2(length + width)
2(0.7+0.1)
2(0.8)
1.6

your final answer is 1.6 inches. note: when you see a number outside of () that means do whats inside first and multiply by the number outside. so 2(0.8) is the same as 2 X 0.8 get it??? hope i helped

Its simply 2(7/10in+1/10in) which is 1 3/5in.
