The paper money is the same size and color.

The coins vary in size. While there are other coins that are larger than the quarter, they are not commonly circulated anymore. The quarter has an eagle on the back; it's worth $.25, or a quarter of a dollar. :)

The nickle is next in size. It's got flat edges and seems a bit thicker than the others. It's worth $.05.

The penny is next. It's copper colored, so it stands out among the rest. It's worth $0.01. It takes 100 of these to equal one full dollar.

Last, but not least, the dime. It's very cute and little. It's worth $.10.

I reccommend looking up pictures on google so you'll know when you get here. :)

All United States paper money is the same size. Even the newer bills with color on them are the same size as the older bills. As for coins, they are different in size. The dime is the smallest coin. The penny is made of a zinc core coated with copper, and it is the second smallest. Next is the nickel. And finally, the quarter is the largest. There are now newer dollar coins as well, and some older coins, but we don't generally use them very much.

Paper is all the same size. Coins are all different, except for the dollar coins they keep coming out with that they seem convinced have to be very similar in size to a quarter.

Yes they all are of the same size and little confusable for the new ones to identify the denominations better check on the back so as to see big letter for the denomination as all look quite same except the picture of some great people having lots of contribution to make AMERICA.

Kuji's right.

All paper currency is the same size here in the U.S. But our coins are different sizes.

Other than dollar coins, which are not very often used, the smaller currencies
A $1 bill is 100 cents
Half Dollars (50 cents) are silver in color, stamped on both sides, and ridged on the edges
Quarters (25 cents) are silver in color, stamped on both sides, and ridged on the edges, and smaller than a half dollar
A nickel (5 cents) is the next largest, also silver in color, but smooth edges
A penny (1 cent), is copper in color and smooth edges is smaller in size than a nickel
A dime (10 cents) is silver in color and has ridged edges, but is very slim in size.
